They always say how finding the right business name is crucial. This one happen to be created accidentally . .
Skeletons and bones have always been an interest of mine from a young age. It’s the history that can be shared without saying a single word. Skeletons to me are items left behind by nature, human and other beings to continue to participate in the circle of life. I took the name Skeleton Studio to Esty back in 2018 only to find out that name was taken. “Whelp what now?” I questioned, as I dug deeper into the type of business I wanted to nurture and grow. Then this thought appeared to me “get rid of the vowels, so it can truly be the bare bones of the word, Skeleton!”
Since then, I’ve been finding unique ways to add Skltns within my art. They become the bones or scraps of materials left behind that I use to reincarnate itself into a new and unique piece of art. You’ll even find my labels, and packaging are made from old cardboard and paper that I hand stamp. My display pieces for events are made from repurposed materials I thrifted or bought from local people.
As I am highly inspired by nature, and giving items a second life, this allows me to help them not end up where I found them . .
